BAGWIS AWARDS CELEBRATES ITS 10TH YEAR

From the inception and launching of DTI’s Bagwis Awards 10 years ago, PAGASA has been a partner of this award by serving as part of the Board of Jurors when nominees for this Award are submitted to DTI regional offices. On 21 October 2016, DTI celebrates this Seal of Good Retail Practices a big way at the Centennial Hall of Manila Hotel. In front of the stage, (L-R) Ms. Josephine Palomo/Dir. PAGASA GENERAL MEETING FOR FIRST QUARTER OF 2021

On the eve of 3 February 2021, the Association held its virtual General Meeting for the first quarter of 2021. The Meet was sponsored by i-Ripple, enabler of My Suki which intends to have as its groceries providers the members of PAGASA. Online selling was a must-do proposition for supermarkets given the extended negative sales effect that the pandemic was wreaking on food retailers.

AJIS OF JAPAN VISITS PAGASA OFFICE

AJIS (All Japan Inventory Service) is an international company performing outsourced physical inventory for retail outlets.  It plans to set up office in the Philippines sometime November and is doing due diligence before investing in the country. On 10 March 2016, (counter-clockwise) Jun Omi-san, Takuya Hisadome-san, Adones Murayama-san, Raita Uckidado-san and Kenta Tagawa-san presented to PAGASA’s STC and William Villanueva what their company is offering the local retail businesses.
