Parking for Bicycles at Commercial Establishment

The Committee on Ecology of the Lower House chaired for the day by Laguna Rep. Edgar S. San Luis (left) and attended by Bill Author Partylist Rep. Walden F. Bello (hidden/leftmost), Comm. Sec. Atty. Dilbert N. Quetulio (center) and Cavite Rep. Lani Mercado-Revilla held a public hearing on the need for parking areas for bicycles in commercial establishments.  The hearing was attended by PAGASA in behalf of retailers (see position paper) together with 9 groups from NGO's having to do with the clean air act as well as resource people from the public sector. Also present was Davao del Sur Rep. Franklin P. Bautista (not in photo).

PAGASA GENERAL MEETING FOR FIRST QUARTER OF 2021

On the eve of 3 February 2021, the Association held its virtual General Meeting for the first quarter of 2021. The Meet was sponsored by i-Ripple, enabler of My Suki which intends to have as its groceries providers the members of PAGASA. Online selling was a must-do proposition for supermarkets given the extended negative sales effect that the pandemic was wreaking on food retailers.

AJIS OF JAPAN VISITS PAGASA OFFICE

AJIS (All Japan Inventory Service) is an international company performing outsourced physical inventory for retail outlets.  It plans to set up office in the Philippines sometime November and is doing due diligence before investing in the country. On 10 March 2016, (counter-clockwise) Jun Omi-san, Takuya Hisadome-san, Adones Murayama-san, Raita Uckidado-san and Kenta Tagawa-san presented to PAGASA’s STC and William Villanueva what their company is offering the local retail businesses.
