 Secretariat of the House Committee on Ecology for study. The 15th Congress of the Phil. House of Representatives filed 13 bills regulating the use/phase-out  of plastic bags. Said meeting was represented by STC and Dir. Fred Gravador in behalf of PAGASA. The Position Paper of PAGASA was submitted to the Secretariat of the House Committee on Ecology for study. The Technical Working Committee said It would consolidate the 13 bills filed by different congressmen for the next meeting. Previous Meeting was held in August last year during the last Congress.

PAGASA GENERAL MEETING FOR FIRST QUARTER OF 2021

On the eve of 3 February 2021, the Association held its virtual General Meeting for the first quarter of 2021. The Meet was sponsored by i-Ripple, enabler of My Suki which intends to have as its groceries providers the members of PAGASA. Online selling was a must-do proposition for supermarkets given the extended negative sales effect that the pandemic was wreaking on food retailers.

AJIS OF JAPAN VISITS PAGASA OFFICE

AJIS (All Japan Inventory Service) is an international company performing outsourced physical inventory for retail outlets.  It plans to set up office in the Philippines sometime November and is doing due diligence before investing in the country. On 10 March 2016, (counter-clockwise) Jun Omi-san, Takuya Hisadome-san, Adones Murayama-san, Raita Uckidado-san and Kenta Tagawa-san presented to PAGASA’s STC and William Villanueva what their company is offering the local retail businesses.
