PAGASA participated at the whole-day National Public Hearing on the Draft IRR for “An Act Granting Additional Benefits and Privileges to Senior Citizens ” held at the auditorium of the Main Office of the Dept. of Social Welfare & Development at Batasan, QC. PAGASA joined discussions during the group workshops in the best interest of Senior Citizens given the proper safeguards to avoid abuse in the implementation of granting privileges to this
sector of society

PAGASA GENERAL MEETING FOR FIRST QUARTER OF 2021

On the eve of 3 February 2021, the Association held its virtual General Meeting for the first quarter of 2021. The Meet was sponsored by i-Ripple, enabler of My Suki which intends to have as its groceries providers the members of PAGASA. Online selling was a must-do proposition for supermarkets given the extended negative sales effect that the pandemic was wreaking on food retailers.

AJIS OF JAPAN VISITS PAGASA OFFICE

AJIS (All Japan Inventory Service) is an international company performing outsourced physical inventory for retail outlets.  It plans to set up office in the Philippines sometime November and is doing due diligence before investing in the country. On 10 March 2016, (counter-clockwise) Jun Omi-san, Takuya Hisadome-san, Adones Murayama-san, Raita Uckidado-san and Kenta Tagawa-san presented to PAGASA’s STC and William Villanueva what their company is offering the local retail businesses.
